Showers and storms will develop across the east central and southeast plains Friday evening and Friday night continuing into Saturday. Storms will be capable of producing locally heavy rainfall with amounts generally ranging around 0.5 inches to 1.5 inches across southeast NM. However, locally higher amounts in excess of 2 inches could be possible, especially for locations in southeast NM that receive multiple rounds of showers and storms.
